Live example for Aries:
17 July 2025
At a standstill ahead of his retrograde turn in your romantic sector tomorrow, it is the Moon's friendly aspect to Mercury that is making it easier to put heart and gut on the same page and give a voice to both. With two of the five planets in Aries already in retrograde motion, as Mercury prepares to open the doors to the past and second chances, it is with the promise of ongoing support.
Week beginning 14 July 2025
It has been over two weeks since Mercury returned to your romantic sector for what is normally a 14 to 15 day mission to give your heart a voice and to put heart and mind on the same page. Having returned 10 days after Mars left, ending his longest visit in two decades, Mercury has been able to keep the romantic flame burning. However, rather than leave, a retrograde turn on Thursday will keep Mercury here until September. As well as once again opening the doors to the past and second chances, as Mars did and why he spent so long here, this is keeping Mercury in your romantic sector and allowing the Sun and eventually Venus, the planet of love to catch up. A journey that began when Mars returned for what is normally a six week visit in November 2024 is still evolving. However, until the Sun returns next week to put the solar spotlight on matters of the heart, by the weekend a sense of romantic nostalgia will have taken hold. Meanwhile, until leaving your communication sector at the end of the month, Venus, the planet of love is on a mission to give your heart and your relationships a voice.
July 2025
Considering that the Sun doesn't return to your romantic sector until 23rd July, the point in each year when the solar spotlight will always shift onto matters of the heart and all things romantic, there is already a lot of history. Venus, who returned to Aries in early February for what is normally a 24 day visit, didn't leave until last month, as did Mars, who returned to your romantic sector in November 2024 for what is normally a six week visit. While the planets of love and passion have moved on, they have left behind a legacy, a clear path and they have established a pattern that is going to continue. That pattern is planets shifting their focus onto matters of the heart, but then are reluctant to move on.
Set to repeat that pattern is Mercury, the planet of communication, who at the end of last month returned to your romantic sector to begin what is normally a 14 to 15 day mission to give your heart a voice and to put heart and mind on the same page. Instead, a retrograde turn on 18th July will keep Mercury here until September, with the Sun only just returning on 23rd July. Often, the Sun's return is the first point in the year when there is any activity on the romantic front but by then, it will have been nearly nine months since Mars returned to kick things off. With Venus held back by her own retrograde phase and not returning until later next month, you haven't even got to the most romantically charged weeks of the year.
Instead, while Mercury is working to give your heart a voice, Venus will spend from 5th July to 31st July in your communication sector, with her mission to give your heart and your relationships a voice putting the planets of love and communication on parallel tracks. With no planetary activity in your relationship sector, the Moon's return from 2nd July to 4th July and again from 29th July to 31st July will be both a chance to check in and take advantage of the growing communication support. Meanwhile, it is the Moon's return to your romantic sector from 25th July to 27th July that shortly after returning will see it align with the Sun to create the most romantically charged New Moon of 2025.
